Paul Togioka is recognized as one of Kauai’s leading slack key guitarists and has recorded with masters Ray Kane, Ledward Kaapana, David Kahiapo, Ken Emerson, and Hal Kinnaman.

In 1996, Paul became Kauai’s first recording artist to be invited to open the prestigious “Kauai Style” Slack Key Guitar Festival and also received the Hawaii Music Awards “Best Recording by a Slack Key Artist” for his CD titled Ohana ‘O Kauai Slack Key Instrumentals.

In 1998, Paul and Buddy Panoke received “Best Hawaiian Instrumental Recording” for their CD titled Ohana ‘O Kauai Instrumentals from the Garden Isle.

In 2004, Paul released his first solo CD titled Ki’Ho Alu Inn produced by Milton Lau of Ka Hoku Productions and the Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festivals. In 2006, they joined forces again to release Paul's second solo CD titled Here, There and Everywhere.

In 2007, Paul along with Ledward Kaapana, Makana, Dennis & David Kamakahi, Michael Kaawa, Jack Johnson, and other Hawaii based musicians were featured on the GRAMMY nominated CD Hawaiian Slack Key Kings.

Originally from Kekaha, Paul lives with his wife Debra in Wailua Homesteads on Kauai.
